‘RETAIL’
Wizard/Genius Productions is casting Retail, an HD DV online comedy series pilot about retail store employees. Matt Vascellaro and Kent Haines, writers/dirs. shoot starts Aug. 11.
Seeking—Meghan: 20, pretty, hardworking junior in college with a great sense of humor but problems with confrontation, LEAD; Barbara: early 50s, average-heavy body type, “pretty but not a MILF,” mother of two, LEAD; Don: mid- to late 40s, a little overweight, receding hairline, out-of-work actor, could have once been handsome, LEAD; Melody: early 50s, thin, blonde, “MILF,” “looks like she’s had work done,” supporting role; Joey: 29, rough around the edges, New England local, delivery guy, supporting role. Note: All roles are Caucasian, African-American, Latino, Asian, or European.
