Are there a lot of BUEG members? These forums seem pretty empty so I wonder if there are not a lot of members or that perhaps this website is new and that members like to network with each other in person at events.

I've just finished my MFA in acting and am dealing with that NYC vs. LA thing. I'd love to meet some Brown folk living and working in LA or at least be able to correspond.

Yeah, the website is new and the boards are under utilized, but hopefully that will change soon. BUEG has occasional events (I'm not sure exactly how many members there are, but I'd have to guess at least two hundred). None of them, it would seem, are checking the boards.

I struggled with that NY v. LA thing for awhile, and settled on LA. There's just more work out here.

What are you leaning towards?

I've decided on LA recently myself. I was just there last week visiting, and I'm comfortable with my decision. How long have you been in LA? What class are you? Have you been to the BUEG events? Have you found them helpful?
